2020 동강국제사진제 취소/연기

안녕하세요. 동강국제사진제 사무국입니다.

 

동강사진마을운영위원회에서는 코로나 바이러스 감염증-19 조기 종식을 간절히 희망하며 <2020 제19회 동강국제사진제> 개최에 최선을 다하고 있었습니다. 

 

최근 국내 확진자 수는 감소하고 있지만 전 세계적인 감염 확산에 아직 안심할 수 없는 상황이기에

깊은 고민 끝에 국내외 참여 작가 및 모든 관람객의 건강과 안전을 최우선으로 고려하여 올해 7월 개최 예정이었던 제19회 동강국제사진제를  부득이하게 취소하고 2021년으로 연기하게 되었음을 알려드립니다.

 

2021년 동강국제사진제에서 더 좋은 모습으로 뵙길 고대하며, 코로나 바이러스 감염증-19 사태가 조속히 마무리되길 간절히 바랍니다.

올해 동강국제사진제를 기대하며 성원해 주신 모든 분들께 널리 양해 말씀드리오며

다시 한 번 깊은 유감의 말씀을 전해드립니다.

Important Announcement with Regards to the COVID-19 Situation

​

We the people at the organizing committee for the DongGang Village of Photography have been monitoring the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 while continuing with the preparations for the 2020’s 19th DongGang International Photography Festival.

​

Although the number of confirmed patients have been on the gradual decrease locally, the situation worldwide is still deteriorating. Regrettably, we are making the difficult decision to cancel this year's festival, originally scheduled for July 2020, and reschedule to next year. We believe the decision is in the best interest in the safety and well-being of everyone involved including all the guest artists, our visitors, and the people of our local community.

We look forward to producing DIPF next year that will make everyone proud. 

We apologize to everyone who had plans to participate in the festival this year and we sincerely hope the situation would improve soon. 

Again, it is with deep frustration and regret that we make this most unfortunate announcement.
